Rowling<\/strong>.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">However, for the last six or seven years he hasn\u2019t stopped at reading them: he studies them, delves into them, tries to grasp their <strong>deeper meaning<\/strong> and the <strong>reason<\/strong> why they still speak so strongly to his generation, to those born between the Eighties and Nineties<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Last June, almost by accident, his <strong>research crossed<\/strong> paths with the Meeting. From there an <strong>ambitious idea<\/strong> was born: turning this literary saga into a <strong>great exhibition<\/strong> for this year\u2019s edition, titled \u00abHe will have a great power unknown to him. Staying with Harry until the end\u00bb.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">For Giovanni, a longtime Meeting attendee, who previously volunteered as an exhibition guide for the showcases on Italian Constitution and Tolkien, <strong>putting himself out<\/strong> there to create this new project was a <strong>natural step<\/strong>, yet one <strong>full of discoveries<\/strong>.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00abThe importance of the Meeting is <strong>to go and search for those things that have something to tell<\/strong>, the stories, the books, those events that have something to say. And Harry Potter seemed one of them.\u00bb <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Working on the exhibition to him means <strong>exercising humility<\/strong>: nullifying everything he thought he knew, revisiting the text afresh alongside dozens of collaborators.\u00bb<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/div><hr class=\"x-line e304398-e11 m6ivi-f\"\/><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x-section e304398-e12 m6ivi-0 m6ivi-1 m6ivi-2 m6ivi-3 m6ivi-4\"><div class=\"x-container e304398-e13 m6ivi-8\"><div class=\"x-column x-sm x-1-1 e304398-e14 m6ivi-9 m6ivi-a\"><span class=\"x-image e304398-e15 m6ivi-b m6ivi-d\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meetingrimini.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Foto_Volti-che-costruiscono_Giovanni-Minghetti-scaled.jpg\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1707\" alt=\"Image\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x-section e304398-e16 m6ivi-1 m6ivi-2 m6ivi-3 m6ivi-5\"><div class=\"x-container e304398-e17 m6ivi-8\"><div class=\"x-column x-sm x-1-1 e304398-e18 m6ivi-9\"><div class=\"x-text x-content e304398-e19 m6ivi-e\"><p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">But why bring Hogwarts\u2019 magic to the Meeting? <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Moreover, what does it have to do with <strong>the tragedies of our time<\/strong>? According to Giovanni, the answer is <strong>radical<\/strong>. \u00abI sincerely hope people will understand that Harry Potter is related to the war in the Middle East, that it is actually related to all those heavy themes we have been facing\u00bb. Everything revolves around the main theme of this year\u2019s Meeting and to the title of the exhibition itself.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Center of the saga is a prophecy of an <strong>unknown power<\/strong>, this power <strong>being love<\/strong>. \u00ab<em>Dumbledore says to Harry: look, you possess this power that is love. Harry was tempted to say: \u201cbig deal\u201d<\/em>\u00bb.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">It\u2019s the same cinic reaction that nowadays we often have: \u00abWe tell ourselves that behind the war in Ukraine, the war in the Middle-East, the wars in Africa\u2026 there\u2019s this same love. Everybody wonders about this\u201cbig deal\u201d, which we <strong>deeply explore<\/strong> during the exhibition, we try to figure out why, at one point, Harry convinces himself that this love <strong>isn\u2019t a rip-off.<\/strong>\u00bb<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">So, when asked why <strong>supporting the Meeting financially<\/strong> is fundamental, Giovanni\u2019s answer is as direct as loving of his project: \u00abWhy support the Meeting? <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">To <strong>built<\/strong> our exhibition! \u00bb he laughs, yet with absolute conviction.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Behind this remark hides the great wish of someone who <strong>has been donating his time<\/strong> and energy <strong>to create something beautiful for all to enjoy<\/strong>. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">All in all, supporting the Meeting signifies exactly this: to allow suchintuitions <strong>to be born<\/strong>, <strong>to develop<\/strong> into a complete artwork, <strong>to travel<\/strong> and keep on<strong> educating the heart <\/strong>of those who meet them.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"x-section e304398-e20 m6ivi-0 m6ivi-1 m6ivi-6 m6ivi-7\"><div class=\"x-row x-container max width e304398-e21 m6ivi-g m6ivi-h\"><div class=\"x-row-inner\"><div class=\"x-col e304398-e22 m6ivi-i\"><a class=\"x-anchor x-anchor-button e304398-e23 m6ivi-j\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meetingrimini.org\/sostienici\/\"><div class=\"x-anchor-content\"><div class=\"x-anchor-text\"><span class=\"x-anchor-text-primary\">DONA ORA<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00abIf there ever was a degree in Harry Potterism, maybe I\u2019d get close to it\u00bb.
