The Meeting Children\u2019s Village<\/strong> has always been a treasure<\/strong> chest full of surprises and at the Meeting 2023 it will be full of new proposals<\/strong>... all with the aim of giving life and shape to this year\u2019s title \u201cHuman existence is an inexhaustible friendship\u201d.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The theme of friendship<\/strong> in some of its historical and artistic forms, will be addressed in the exhibition \u201cFRIENDSHIP IN[TO]-POSSIBLE. JANNIS KOUNELLIS AND TIZIANO VECELLIO\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

An interactive exhibition full of surprises, a dialogue between a contemporary artist and one of the past, to tell that bonds can overcome time and space if you have a common love.<\/p>\n

Friendship will also be the protagonist of the exhibition \u201cPETER PAN: LOVE IS A WINDOW THAT NEVER CLOSES\u201d<\/strong>, an experiential journey in which to relive the story of Peter Pan and Wendy written by James Matthew Barrie.<\/p>\n

Inside the exhibition it will be possible to play with Peter Pan and his friends and discover the meaning of the eternally kept open window, waiting for the moment when Peter (like each of us!) will decide to grow up and choose reality instead of eternal immobility.<\/p>\n

From the proposal of this exhibition was born the idea of a theatrical show<\/strong> for the whole family entitled \u201cNO CHILD IS LOST\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the day the Village area will offer over 100 workshops<\/strong> (for children aged 3 to 10 years) dedicated to art, creativity, science, history, Italian, mathematics, English, motor play<\/strong> workshops and manuals<\/strong>... In short, there will be fun, each according to their skills and abilities together with the volunteers!<\/p>\n

In the Enjoy Square<\/strong> area, dedicated to middle school students, every day there will be workshops to create video trailers<\/strong>, on the theme of photography<\/strong> and journalism<\/strong>, combined with meetings with people who work in fascinating fields such as art, science, comics, media.<\/p>\n

Into the Children\u2019s Village we will find the area of Tales<\/strong> with daily readings and the wrapping-theater<\/strong>, the children\u2019s library<\/strong> curated by Itaca, a space dedicated to the crib curated by Father Marco Finco, the family garden<\/strong> to relax a little with the little ones and the Baby Club<\/strong> by the Serviceweb cooperative.<\/p>\n

In the board games are<\/strong>a, there will be breathtaking matches, tournaments and above all you will discover prototypes<\/strong> of new games<\/strong>... knowing the authors!<\/p>\n

An important return will be the project \u201cThe caress of the Village\u201d<\/strong>, managed by the Care and Rehabilitation Cooperative, to respond to the need of people with disabilities and their families to be accompanied within the Meeting.<\/p>\n

The Children\u2019s Village will be open from 11 am to 8 pm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Admission is free for everyone but from this year in addition to the exhibitions<\/strong> you can also book<\/strong> the workshops<\/strong> from the APP<\/strong> Meeting and website<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
