Roberto Bernabei was born in Florence on January 24, 1952 and graduated in 1976 in Medicine and Surgery at the Catholic University of Rome where he specialized in Internal Medicine and Diseases of Cardiovascular System.
Full Professor of Internal Medicine at the Catholic University and Director of the Science Centre for Aging, Neurological, Orthopedic, and Head-Neck of the teaching hospital A. Gemelli.
Visiting Professor at the Community Health Department at Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, RI.
Director of the School of Specialization in Geriatrics of Catholic.
Board member of the European Academy for Medicine of Aging in the years 2001-2014.
