Sannino Conchita

Conchita Sannino is a correspondent for the daily newspaper La Repubblica. She covers judicial politics and political news. After training at the Paese Sera journalism school and working with Il Secolo XIX, she joined La Repubblica.

She was one of the promoters of Presente, indicativo, a theatre festival, readings and public meetings with witnesses of legality and authors who have distinguished themselves in the field of civil engagement, including Roberto Saviano. She broke the story on the events renamed ‘Casoriagate’. In 2010, she won the Minerva Prize for her book La bolgia.
