Full Professor of Didactics and Technologies of Education at the University of Bologna. Founder and current President of SIREM (Italian Society for Research on Media Education), Director of the journal ‘REM – Research on Education and Media’ and of the journal ‘EAS – Essere a Scuola’; Co-Director of ‘Scholè, rivista di educazione e studi culturali’. Member of the scientific committee of several specialised journals in Italy and abroad. Coordinator of the Doctorate of National Interest in Learning Sciences and Digital Technologies. Member of the School Commission of the Accademia dei Lincei. He holds courses at various Italian and foreign universities. He has over 500 scientific publications to his credit.
