Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Columbia University Medical Center Director, Neonatal Comfort Care Program
Dr. Elvira Parravicini was born and raised in Milan, Italy. She graduated at the University of Milan, Italy in 1981 and she completed her Pediatric residency and Neonatal fellowship at the University of Milan.
In 1994 she moved to the United States, and she has been working as attending neonatologist at Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Parravicini create an unique and innovative program for infants affected by life-limiting or terminal conditions. The Neonatal Comfort Care Program, (www.neonatalcomfortcare.com) established in 2008, addresses the complex medical and non-medical needs of infants and their families.
