Palmeri Laura

Maria Laura Palmeri was born in Cattolica in 1989.
In 2011, she graduated with honors in Economics and Management for Arts, Culture, and Communication. That same year, she was admitted to the Piccolo Teatro di Milano School, where she studied with, among others, Luca Ronconi, Enrico D’Amato, Michele Abbondanza, and Maria Consagra.
In 2014, she made her debut alongside Elisabetta Pozzi in the play “Joan of Arc”, directed by Andrea Chiodi. After graduating, she co-founded the theater company Bezoart with other young actors, organizing the Piccolo Festival Teatrale for three consecutive years. There, she performed in “The Misanthrope” and “Romeo and Juliet”, playing Juliet, a production that premiered at LAC in Lugano in December 2017.
In 2015, she played Irina in “The Three Sisters”, directed by Emiliano Bronzino.
After theater school, she deepened her study of voice and singing with Maestro Bruno De Franceschi, participating in numerous performances as a singer-actress.
In 2016, she attended the advanced training course Casa degli Artisti at Teatro Due in Parma. She collaborated with Teatro Due in the productions “Nadia”, “Much Ado About Nothing”, and “Girotondo Kabarett”. In 2017, she performed at the Piccolo Teatro in “Uomini e no”, directed by Carmelo Rifici.
As both director and actress, she curated the productions “Il popolo nudo” (an adaptation of Life and Fate by V. Grossman, for Holocaust Remembrance Day) and “Trascinami con te”, an adaptation of the “Song of Songs”.
In 2021, she collaborated with DeSidera on the productions “Lydia tra le nazioni” and “Cantata Profana”.
