Orsini Emanuele

Emanuele Orsini, born in Sassuolo in 1973, is the current President of Confindustria. After obtaining his high school diploma in science in 1992, he began his career at Sistem Costruzioni, a leading company in the wood construction and industrial logistics sector, becoming its CEO in 2014. He is also President of Maranello Residence. In 2020, following the death of his father-in-law, Orsini took over the reins of Tino Prosciutti S.p.A. as President, with delegated powers for investment and development, contributing to the expansion of the industrial site and the increase in exports to new non-EU markets, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and China. His extensive experience in associations includes the position of President of Assolegno since 2013 and, since 2017, President of FederlegnoArredo, the Italian Federation of Wood, Cork, Furniture and Furnishings Industries. During his presidency of FederlegnoArredo, he created a collegial federation divided into three operational units (Salone del Mobile, Made Expo, Events). Among the most significant projects carried out under his leadership are the reconstruction of the nursery school in Finale Emilia (MO) and the construction of a new school after the 2012 earthquake, as well as the completion of the headquarters of the ITS Rosario Messina Foundation. Orsini joined Confindustria in 2015 as a member of the Confindustria Modena Council and Head of the Miscellaneous Section, and since 2016 as a member of the Industry and Environment Technical Group. In 2017, he became a member of the Confindustria General Council and the Technical Group for Internationalisation. In 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, he was appointed Vice President of Confindustria with responsibility for Credit, Finance and Taxation, focusing on emergency measures that enabled businesses to access €300 billion in financing. He has also held positions in the financial sector, having been Vice President of Unicredit Leasing since 2013 and then President from 2018 to 2021. In 2018, he was awarded a diploma of environmental merit by the Minister of the Environment and Protection of the Sea for his eco-sustainable projects aimed at providing emergency housing solutions in the Marche region following the earthquake in central Italy.
