Massobrio Paolo

Born in Milan in 1961, he has been working as a journalist on agricultural economics and food and wine for about 30 years. He contributes to the daily newspapers La Stampa, Avvenire and various periodicals. He is editor-in-chief of the portal www.ilgolosario.it and the magazine Papillon, as well as author of the best-selling guide Il Golosario.

Other publications published by Comunica include: l’Ascolto del vino, Adesso 365 giorni da vivere con gusto, and Gatti Massobrio, taccuino dei ristoranti d’Italia.

He is editor of the ‘I Libri del Golosario’ series for Cairo editore.

He is the founder and national president of Club di Papillon, collaborates on radio and TV and is a judge on the programme La Prova del Cuoco on Rai 1. His numerous awards include the Saint Vincent prize for journalism, his nomination in the Signature Committee of Expo 2015, the Italia a Tavola award as Personality of the Year 2017 in the Opinion Leader category, and the 2017 Multimedia Award from the Academie Internationale de la Gastronomie. He collaborated on the Magazine of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2015. Every year at Golosaria he celebrates with his colleague Marco Gatti the Top Hundred award, dedicated to the 100 best wines of Italy.
