Magatti Mauro
Sociologist, Full Professor of General Sociology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan; from 2006 to 2012 he was Dean of the Faculty of Sociology of the same University. He is currently Permanent Research Fellow of the Center for Ethics and Culture of Notre Dame University (US).
He is a member of the Central Charity Commission of the Cariplo Foundation, of the Solidarity and Development Committee of Banca Prossima and of the Standing Committee of the Ambrosianeum Foundation. He has also directed many projects for the European Science Foundation, MIUR (Ministry of Education, University and Research), the Ministry of Labor, the Lombardy Region, the Italian Caritas, the Pastore Foundation, the Agnelli Foundation, the Edison Foundation, and Banca Intesa.
Secretary of the Scientific Committee and Organizer of the Social Weeks of Italian Catholics.
