Bruno Giovanni

Giovanni Bruno, currently a columnist, commentator for SkySport and SkySport24.
In Sky since 2003 where he created the Sports Editorial staff from Stream and Tele+, he was editor in chief until 2007 then served as director of special projects until after the London Olympic Games to then be Director again, since 2015 Co-Director with responsibility for Various Sports.
Sixty-five years old, Roman, married with four children, a great sports fan and who has made this very passion the main thread of his professional career.
His landing in the world of journalism materialized in the late 1970s with the magazine Yachting Italiano and collaboration with TG1 and TMC (commentator of winter sports and Rugby). He followed Azzurra’s path to the America’s Cup as Head of the Press Office. He arrived at Fininvest in 1988 with the acquisition of Tele Capodistria and later Telet. For TeleCapodistria he edited the sports programs Sportime and Obiettivo Sci. For the same station he was correspondent in Calgary for the 1988 Winter Olympics and coordinating anchor for the Summer Olympics in Seoul.
Studio Sport and Il Giro d’Italia are the main activities as Mediaset Chief Editor.
In 1996, he was recalled to RAI by then Director Marino Bartoletti, who decided to entrust Giovanni Bruno with the Giro d’Italia and other broadcasts. In 1998, he became its own Sports Director until the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City and the World Cup in Korea.
