Aurigemma Antonello

Born in Rome on 1 June 1968, Antonio Aurigemma (known as Antonello) holds a degree in Political Science and is now serving his third term in the Regional Council, following his tenth (2013-2018) and eleventh (2018-2023) terms. He was elected on the Fratelli d’Italia list in the provincial constituency of Rome. In the last term, Aurigemma was chairman of the Committee for Monitoring the Implementation of Laws and Evaluating the Effects of Regional Policies and vice-chairman of the first Commission for ‘Constitutional and Statutory Affairs, Institutional Affairs, Participation, Human Resources, Local Authorities, Security, Fight against Crime, Anti-Mafia’. Previously, the new president of the Regional Council also served as councillor for Rome Capital under Mayor Gianni Alemanno.
