FAQ APP – HOW TO VISIT THE MEETING 2023

How can I visit the Meeting 2023?
Simply by using the update version of the “Meeting Rimini” App. The previous versions will not work for this year’s edition.

How can I get or update the app?
If your smartphone runs Android you can update or download it from Google Play, from the App Store if you have an iPhone and from the Huawei Store App if you have a newest generation Huawei smartphone.

What can I do with the app?

The app includes several features and allows you to:
– physically access the Rimini Fairgrounds during the Meeting by generating an entrance ticket (from July 15th)
– book your visit to the exhibitions (from August 1st)
– book your seats for the conferences (from July 15th)
– book your seats for the shows and access the VivaTicket platform to purchase the tickets for them (from June 15th)
– book your visit to the exhibitions and laboratories of the Kid’s Village (from August 1st)
– register for the Camps in the Sports area (from August 1st)
– view the Meeting programme
– build your personal agenda
– read the news
– view the map of the Fairgrounds
– associate people with your profile to create their entry ticket and book events for them
– create groups of friends to book the same events together

I have downloaded or updated the app. What should I do now to visit the Meeting?

Register: if you are a new user, the app will ask you to create your account by entering the required data.
Login: if you had previously created your account, please log in with your credentials. You can log in also with your social ID.

Once logged in, you will be able to generate your entrance ticket (hereinafter: MyTicket) consisting of a personal QR Code.

Can I use the app to register other people?
The app allows you to associate up to 10 people – friends, acquaintances, family members – with your account. The procedure is very simple: click on Account and go to the “My Guests” section and then enter the required data.

Please keep in mind that all the bookings (entrance tickets, conferences, exhibitions, etc.) made for these people will have to be managed by you, if they have a smartphone it is advisable that they create their own account.

What about minors?
If your children are under 14, they must be associated with your account, therefore you will have to manage their bookings, if any.

Children over 14 but still under 18 (at the date of registration, not at the date of entrance to the event) will be able to download the app. However, in order to generate their own entrance ticket, they will have to ask for the authorization of a parent (or a legal guardian). On the basis of the birth date, the app will send a notification to the parent, who will obviously need to have the app. The authorization is requested only once and once received, the minor will be able to organise his/her own stay at the Meeting.

What if I want to visit the Meeting with a group of friends?
The app allows you to create groups of people up to a maximum of 30 participants (who must have the app), who can then associate with the group the guests connected to their own profile, up to a total maximum of 30 people.

What if my group exceeds 30 people?
Once the group reaches 30 participants, the app will send a warning indicating that the group has reached the limit of 30 people. The email address indicated by the app will be used to contact the Meeting and manage larger groups.

How can I book exhibition visits?

From August 1st you will be able to book your visits to the exhibitions by selecting the Exhibitions section from the Categories menu on the app homepage.

You will be asked to indicate any accompanying person (your guests or a group) and then you will be shown the available time slots on the various days, taking into account the number of people you want to visit the exhibition with.

Once confirmed, the booking will be automatically saved in your MyMeeting 2022 agenda.

How can I attend the conferences?
From July 15th you will be able to book all the conferences. From the app homepage, go to Categories and select Conferences. Choose the conference you are interested in (and indicate any accompanying person, may it be your guests or a group). Your booking will be saved in your agenda.

Important! The app will notify you if the available seats are fewer than the number of seats you want to book.

How can I attend the shows? Do I have to buy a ticket?
As you can see from the program, there are various types of show admissions:
– some shows have free admission, such as the concerts at the Pools
– for other shows with free admission, you still need to book seats through the app in the same way as for the conferences (e.g. the events of the “Spirto Gentil” series)
– for paid shows at the Galli Theatre or at the Fairgrounds you can use the app. From the homepage, go to the Categories section, select Show, then choose the show you are interested in and you will be redirected to the VivaTicket platform to buy tickets. You can also access to VivaTicket from the Meeting website.

Is the app needed also for the Kids’ Village?
The Kids’ Village (Hall C5) can be accessed freely, the app is necessary only to book the visits to the  exhibitions and laboratories located inside it. You can book your visit from August 1st in the same way as for the other exhibitions. You can use the filter to find activities categorized by age, making it easier for minors to book.

How do I access the Sports area?
Access is free, but if you want to join the camps with professional trainers, you must book them from August 1st through the app Sports section.

I have read all the FAQ but I am still having problems. What can I do?
Please write to assistenza@meetingrimini.org and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

If, on the other hand, you do not have a smartphone and cannot be associated with another person’s account, you can generate your entrance ticket and do all the above mentioned bookings from the Meeting website. Please note that compared to the app, the registration method from the website offers fewer features.

What if I get last minute problems when I am already in Rimini?
You can ask for assistance at the two help desks that will be located respectively at the South and West entrances of the Fairgrounds.

Inside the Fairgrounds, the InfoPoint located in the central hall will be at your disposal to help you with the bookings and support you for any other issues.
