Who we are
“ASPETTIAMO SENZA AVERE PAURA, DOMANI – Canzoni e disquisizioni su Lucio Dalla”. Di e con Sasà Calabrese, Dario De Luca, Daniele Moraca
Free admission
In an interview with Corriere della Sera in 2002, Lucio Dalla said: “All the lyrics of my songs are always little stories, screenplay ideas”. From this comes the idea of combining the form of the song with the spoken word, with the art of theatricalizing it—seeking to create a performance where the songs of the Bolognese genius become stories, horizontal narratives, like a film, like tales hand-stitched by music. Songs, therefore, will be sung and acted, accompanied by reflections on music, anecdotes from Lucio’s artistic life, and those of many fellow artists who form the diverse archipelago of Italian singer-songwriters. All this will unfold in a spirit of lightness and irony, with active audience participation. This show was conceived and written during the months of the pandemic—to ward off fear and to feel united, even from afar. Perhaps even the title itself serves as a caption for the message the three artists have sought to convey.
