Conferences

More than seven thousand speakers have participated in the conferences of the Meeting since 1980. Among them Nobel laureates, world leaders, saints like Mother Teresa and John Paul II, prominent figures in the worlds of culture, economy, art, politics and communication. In 2018 only, 248 conferences were held with 627 speakers. As always from 1980 to today, people of different orientations, backgrounds and sensibilities found an opportunity for an open and constructive discussion at the Meeting. Through the conferences, the Meeting presents itself as a chance to explore the most crucial and vital issues of contemporary life, thus becoming a useful moment for the whole country, as presidents Napolitano and Mattarella have reminded us.
