The Villager's Opera

The inaugural show of this year’s Meeting will truly be an exceptional event. Directly from Lebanon is the Caracalla Dance Theatre Company with “The Villager’s Opera”.

On stage will be over fifty dancers, actors, and singers coming from all over the world, costumes rich in color and sparkling accessories, a modern and at the same time baroque scenography, exhilarating and captivating music, the universal theme of love between a young couple and the conflict between their families. The result is a show of great emotional impact: popular, because rich in particulars and simple in the narration that wishes to speak to an international audience.
